Book Of Twelve
Book Of Twelve is a short film about twelve kids taking the first step to the next chapter of their life. They are brought together in a Christian Youth Service. Twelve issues are confronted with one message: "Something Needs to Change." The question is, "Will they take the first step to the next chapter of their life or will they remain in the pit that they find themselves in?" Post-Production finished early 2014 and the film was released on November 12th.

One day my husband and I were walking into church. At that time we were waiting for our church building to be built so we were having church services at a local high school. When we would walk to the auditorium we would pass by the junior high and high school students. As we were walking by I was watching them, their body language, how they interacted with others and I wondered about their home life, their family, their school, their friends. What was life like for them right now. What are they dealing with that maybe no one else knows. As I shared this with my husband the idea came for Book of Twelve. So many youth are confronted with different issues. My husband and I dealt with some of the issues we show in this short film when we were growing up. I know I felt alone, like no one understood what I was going through and I didn't even know how to express what I was dealing with but at 16 I found myself at a funeral and that is when someone told me about Jesus and it changed my life forever. There were so many times that I would be sitting in a church service and I felt like the person speaking was speaking directly to me and it would remind me of what was going on in my life or maybe something I had already gone through. We wanted to show this in our film because we know the power of seeing your life before you and the change that can come from it. Once we were finished writing we held our first meeting and that is when it began. Everyone you see in this short film wanted to be a part of this film and we could not have done it without them. We want to say thank you to everyone who was a part of making this vision come to life. We hope that you enjoy our first short film Book of Twelve.
